Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. And communities get better. That's because we help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy.
Our 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members make us the world's largest service club organization.
Since it's international convention in 1925 when Helen Keller challenged the Lions to be "Knights of the Blind in the Crusades Against Darkness" Lions Club members have adopted the primary mission of aiding the blind and visually impaired.

Fellow Lions:
I am both humbled and honored to serve as your President this year. I have always felt it was my duty to give back to the community by volunteering my time. To that end, I am committed to helping not only strengthen the Salisbury Lions’ Club, but also to help our community and those less fortunate.
Salisbury Maryland, founded in 1732 and incorporated in 1854, is the largest city on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (pop. 30,434 - 2010 census results) and the county seat of Wicomico County. Salisbury is located at the head of the Wicomico River, the navigable waterway that leads to the Chesapeake Bay.
